The North Coast Strings Summer 2022 program is unique in its approach. It will include repertoire from two distinct eras in history: the Renaissance era and the Jazz era. Renaissance selections include A Tudor Suite (Thomas Morley), Mensa Sonora/PARS 111 (Franz Biber), and Dances from Terpsichore (Praetorius). Jazz selections include Sing, Sing, Sing (Louis Prima) and Wave (Antonio Carlos Jobim). The Summer Orchestra is geared to the intermediate and advanced intermediate adult (21 and over) musician. Simplified arrangements will be provided for the more complicated pieces. Professional coaches will join the group beginning in August.
