Our intermediate and advanced ensembles take center stage in an inspiring afternoon of music. Orchestra One presents a vibrant program inspired by American landscapes, featuring works such as Prairie Sky, Appalachian Festival, Spirit of the American West, and American Landscape. The North Coast Strings Orchestra explores Haydn’s early symphonies alongside Igor Kornechouk’s Impressions of Maine, with a special spotlight on the bass in Giovanni Bottesini’s Concerto in F-Sharp Minor, performed by two of San Diego’s finest bassists.
